Je vous remercie pour votre commentaire et votre question. Je dois l’admettre : trouver un logement à Mumbai est un véritable calvaire ! Les prix ont considérablement augmenté ces dernières années en raison des projets de réhabilitation des bidonvilles et des vieux bâtiments. Les personnes concernées par ces projets doivent donc se déplacer dans d’autres quartiers : les bons logements sont tous occupés et il ne reste que les nouveaux logements, mais avec des loyers exorbitants.
De plus, il y a une contrainte majeure dans votre situation : la durée. En Inde, les contrats de location classiques sont de 11 mois minimum, ce qui rend la recherche d’un appartement en bail direct presque impossible pour seulement 3 mois.

Cependant, essayez de contacter directement l’IIT Bombay ! Leur professeur référent ou les Alumni peuvent éventuellement leur attribuer une chambre en résidence universitaire (hostel) ou en maison d’hôtes. Il existe aussi les PGs (Paying Guest) et la colocation : C’est ce que la plupart des étudiants à Bombay font. Je ne connais pas les noms de ces PGs, mais je suis sûre que l’université savent. Peut-être que les chambres ne seront pas forcément à Powai (où se trouve IIT Bombay), mais il y a aussi Kanjurmarg ou encore Vikhroli. Aussi, il faut qu’ils essaient sur Facebook ou Whatsapp. Ils ont sûrement dû faire un group Whatsapp avec leur classe… ? Beaucoup de choses marchent surtout grâce au réseautage, vraiment !!

Ils sont étudiants à l’iit jusqu’à fin novembre et cherchent un logement à côté….sans succès….

Thank you so much for commenting on my article, which I really enjoyed writing. It was my first time attending a workshop, and I thought it was just awesome.
